Are there any conditions for acquiring Nen abilities?

There is no connection between the official professional hunter qualification and Nen ability. However, professional hunters are also required to have strength (combat ability to survive). For this reason, acquiring Nen ability is positioned as a "secret exam for the professional hunter exam."

In the story, Gon and Killua receive instruction in Nen from Wing and Bisky.

Heart

The culmination of Nen abilities, the technique of freely manipulating aura. Special techniques and killer moves created by Nen using aura.

This "development" is broadly divided into the Enhancement, Emission, Transformation, Manipulation, Materialization, and Specialty systems. Although there is a relationship between talent and ability, the abilities that are manifested are also linked to interests, and if you are interested in a field that is different from your talent, abilities that you are not good at may be manifested.

The Nen user's specialization is determined by their own qualities, and the farther away a Nen user is on the diagram, the lower the upper limit of their ability to learn.

Nen Ability Training Method

These Nen abilities cannot be acquired overnight. Even if one has the talent, the basic requirement is to train in the correct way for a long period of time.

By using expedient means, he can evade those who try to master his mind.

Nen can be extremely dangerous depending on how it is used, and can become a fearsome weapon if mastered by an evil person. Therefore, as a means to confuse those who are unwilling to learn Nen, the four principles of Ten, Zetsu, Ren, and Hatsu are taught. In the story, Wing explains these principles to Gon and Killua (who were not his students at the time).
