3 tier passageway

Phinks and Feitan are trying to find Ei-I's hideout by looking at the transmitter.

Nobunaga joins them and they walk together.

Feitan is holding the transmitter. On the way to the fourth floor, the signal weakens. This means that Ei-I has a hideout on the second floor.

Nobunaga becomes more wary when he sees this. The enemy's strategy is superior to his expectations, and depending on the boss's (Morena's) abilities, they may even become a formidable opponent for the Phantom Troupe.

Nobunaga suggests taking Franklin with them. The official reason is to act as insurance in case they encounter Hisoka along the way, but Phinks and the others suspect that Franklin is actually too attached to the enemy.

The Phantom Troupe's primary goal is Hisoka. The annihilation of the Ei-I family is merely a sideshow, and is an exchange condition for the use of the mafia's access to the upper echelons.

While they were talking, the B.W.'s intercom system started to play. It seemed that there had been news of a death.

What is the obituary?
It is not revealed, but based on the flow of events, it is possible that it is news of the deaths of Momoze and SareSalle. It is also possible that Kachou's body was found (it should have been recovered from the escape pod), but this contradicts the fact that Kachou and the others acted under the assumption that Fugetsu did not know about it. However, it is not necessarily the case that this in-house broadcast came first in the chronological order.

6th Prince Tyson's Room

  • Madwig, the amnesiac hitman
  • Global superstar Himanse
  • Tyson's hidden younger brother, Angel
  • Legendary Tutor Hyuuga
  • Prince made by Moony

Giuliano is introduced to a group of unique characters, including the above. He blurts out that it's role-playing, but Tyson warns him not to say so.

Izunavi watches this and considers the possibility that this is not roleplaying, but rather that Tyson is controlling it with the powers of his Nen beast.

If Tyson's Nen beast's purpose is love and there is no malice in its manipulation, then it may even be possible to manipulate the king and stop the succession war.

During his meeting with the king, Halkenburg learns that it is impossible to stop the war of succession, but the other princes are unaware of this.
Therefore, they believe that the succession battle can be called off depending on the king's declaration.

During a conversation with Tyson, Izunavi realizes that Tyson is paying closer attention to himself and the situation around him than he had expected. He gives Tyson advice on how to show the scriptures to the king.

In front of Kachou's room

Queen Seiko, the parent of Kachou and Fugetsu, is having trouble with the royal soldiers.

He is dissatisfied with the fact that his daughter Kachou has died and that Kachou's room has been closed off. He claims that he is doing this out of concern for his daughter, but deep down he hates Kachou and only thinks of using her. Seiko also only sees Fugetsu as someone who is useful to her.

judicial bureau

Senritsu, who has learned of Kachou's death, is talking to the Nen beast (a guardian spirit beast created from posthumous thoughts) that has taken on the appearance of Kachou. He is shocked that his actions have led to Kachou's death.

However, Kachou himself remains positive and works with Senritsu and Kaisar to eliminate the higher-ranking princes in order to make Fugetsu king.

Kacho's goal remains the same as before he died: to survive together with Fugetsu. It is said that there can only be one winner in the succession battle, but he intended to survive and ask for Fugetsu's pardon. However, now that he is dead, he can focus solely on his goal of making Fugetsu king.

Kaisar suggests poisoning the high-ranking prince, but Senritsu cannot understand Kaisar's reason for taking such a risky action and asks why he would go to such lengths.

Kaisar confesses his love to Senritsu and tells him that it's for his own good, but Senritsu doesn't believe him at all and thinks that Kaisar has manipulation-type abilities.

After confirming what everyone needs to do, Kaiser leaves the room.

He gives orders to Steiner.

Fugetsu's Room

Kachou discovers that Fugetsu is not in the room.

While they are searching, Fugetsu returns, clearly insane.

Kachou shares the situation with Senritsu and asks for help, saying that he cannot solve it on his own.

Senritsu asks Kaisar to arrange a time when they will pass each other so that he can check on Fugetsu himself.

Senritsu checks on Fugetsu as they pass each other. His eyes are vacant, insects are flying around the back of his head, and he is being followed by what appears to be the spirit of an unborn child, which has weakened his aura to an extreme degree.

Who has this abnormal condition?
It is possible that this was an attack by one of the princes' private soldiers, but since Fugetsu's condition closely resembles the description of the curse's state, it is most likely a curse caused by the Nen ability "We were born to make the numbers add up" of the former Fuujimin, private soldiers of the second prince, Camilla.
The private soldier in charge of Fugetsu is Mozube.

Senritsu doesn't know the cause, but speculates that it may be an attack by another prince, and that negotiations will be held with Fugetsu as a hostage.

judicial bureau

While Senritsu is in custody, visitors come one after another.

Senritsu believes that the person who caused Fugetsu's abnormal state will come to negotiate as a hostage, but no one's heartbeat gives any indication of this.

If it was a posthumous Nen attack by Mozube, then Mozube would already be dead and would not have come to visit Senritsu. The curse's sole purpose is assassination, not negotiation.
The third prince, Chourai, hands over the coin and leaves.
This coin is spit out from the mouth of Chorai's guardian spirit beast, one per day.
Vantine, the captain of the private army acting for the Fourth Prince, Zellidnich, only confirms Senritsu's intentions before leaving. Even when Senritsu naturally mentions the word "negotiation," there is no change in the other party's heartbeat.
Senritsu, unable to determine who is trying to negotiate by taking Fugetsu hostage, asks Kaisar to get Kurapika to talk as soon as possible.

14th Prince Wable Room

Kurapika undergoing Nen training.

While Longi is developing his Nen ability, it seems he is a Nen user. In a private room where no one can hear, he receives a request from the fifth prince, Tsubeppa.

Kurapika agrees to become Tsubeppa's collaborator (partner).

Does "collaborator" simply refer to a cooperative relationship, or does it have something to do with Nen abilities? Tsubeppa's Nen beast is a symbiotic transformation type. It produces medicines within its body with the cooperation of others...
It seems that the format of the series will change from episode 401 onwards.
  • Until now... hiatus → weekly serialization → hiatus...
  • From now on... it will be serialized in a non-weekly format (details to be announced later)
There is also a possibility that it will be serialized continuously, perhaps once every two weeks or once a month.
